We are pleased to announce that Arielle Inveen has joined us as the Developmental Disability Ombuds and Development Assistant. Arielle Inveen began working at Disability Rights Washington as a volunteer in November 2016 while a full time student at Seattle University. As a volunteer she focused on development work, outreach, and data systems. Upon graduation in December 2017 with a BA in English, she was excited to have more time to dedicate to disability rights and advocacy and accepted a full time position at Disabilities Rights Washington in January 2018 as a Developmental Disability Ombuds and Development Assistant. Prior to Disability Rights Washington, Arielle worked as a preschool teacher and enjoyed helping children learn. In her free time, Arielle enjoys writing for The Mighty, a digital health community created to empower and connect people facing health challenges and disabilities. She grew up in Tacoma, Washington and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.
