Meghan Apshaga

Meghan started working at Disability Rights Washington as a summer intern in 2013, after completing her first year in law school. After graduating from the University of Washington School of Law in 2015, she was hired as the second staff attorney in Disability Rights Washington’s Spokane office. Currently, Meghan works on the Rights Investigation and Accountability Program, advocating for the rights of people with representative payees and guardianships. In her free time, Meghan enjoys hiking and swimming with her yellow Labrador retriever, Barkley; kayaking the lakes of eastern Washington and Northern Idaho; and tending to her houseplants and pollinator garden.
