Rights Investigation & Accountability
Colleen Caffrey joined Disability Rights Washington in May, 2020. She previously worked in administrative and financial management roles for the Statewide Independent Living Council of Georgia and other non-profit organizations. She is excited to return to the disability rights community as part of DRW’s Rights Investigation and Accountability team.
Colleen is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. She has worked as a music educator, teaching pre-schoolers and retirees to drum. She is a passionate volunteer with the Girls Rock Camp network, empowering girls, women, trans and gender-expansive people through creative self-expression and collaboration. Colleen recently relocated to Olympia where she enjoys forest hikes with her wife, visits to the Farmers Market, and improvisational cooking.
