Amy joined the team in 2018. Her journey to DRW involves politics; advocacy; nonprofit management; and accounting for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. She has a BA in Anthropology from Yale University, and an MBA from Gonzaga University School of Business. Amy is also a trail runner, biker, and mom to two teenage boys.
An advocate for domestic violence survivors, Amy serves on the board for YWCA Spokane. For years, she’s also mentored folks with epilepsy, empowering them to self-advocate, manage their disability, and navigate community resources and employment.
Amy has run for office in Spokane twice, advocating and lifting up voices for people with disabilities, and supporting public education. Active in advocacy and initiative efforts in the Spokane community, Amy’s work includes the successful 2016 campaign to increase public transit services.
