This Spring of 2019, Rooted in Rights hosted events in partnership with Town Hall Seattle to bring together Seattle’s disability community, as well as Town Hall’s wide audience, in person and online for a Storytellers Film Festival on May 7th and a panel discussion on Parenting Without Pity on June 13th, enabling disabled parents to share their perspectives on parenting rights, growing up disabled, and raising the next generation of disabled youth.
