DRW is seeking new members for our Development Committee, a fun, engaged group of volunteers who raise funds and awareness to advance the dignity, equality and self determination of people with disabilities in Washington State.

You’ll partner with DRW’s Director of Strategic Partnerships and up to 20 volunteers from DRW’s board, staff and community.

We are seeking committee members with diverse perspectives, experiences and skill sets. People with disabilities, Black, indigenous, and people of color, formerly institutionalized or incarcerated, and those from other oppressed groups and all protected classes are strongly encouraged to apply. Development Committee members should be committed to advancing disability rights and/or disability justice principles.

Additionally, DRW is seeking members who have strong connections to the business and/or legal sectors, have strong connections to communities outside of King County, or identify as a person with a disability.

Committee members serve for at least a one-year term. The Development Committee supports the work of the DRW Board.
