Disability Rights Washington is pleased to announce that Reisha Abolofia will direct the new Rights Investigation and Accountability Program. Reisha was an attorney with Disability Rights Washington’s Treatment Facilities Program before being promoted to this position. Reisha distinguished herself through her community work to support the voices of people with disabilities, her vigorous advocacy for change in institutions, and the reports and media she produced to educate our state. As Director of Rights Investigation and Accountability, Reisha will lead a team of one staff member from each of Disability Rights Washington’s three offices to ensure that individuals with disabilities have self-determination in personal and financial decisions. Disability Rights Washington is full of excitement for Reisha’s work in this new, promising program.
