Lawsuit garners support for those found not guilty by reason of insanity

“I do not want to see [him] go to a prison setting where he would become more vulnerable than he already is.  It would be to his detriment to be in a prison setting where it is likely that he will become a victim,” said Moore.

The lawsuit asks the court for an injunction to stop DSHS from implementing the new law pending a decision by the court regarding its constitutionality.
